Who Will Listen When you Talk?
What would really matter is that people be around when you need them...People should care for you and show that care and warmth...People atleast a few(!) should have the time and patience to listen to you when you talk...should be there to hold your hand when you cry...and cry with you. Be there to share in your happiness...be there to laugh with you...jump with you...Just be with you on your journey called life. Isn't that what should matter in life, really? "Who will listen when you talk?". People have an innate desire to be needed, to be wanted, to be heard...and that is the need, that is the craving when one is alive. For what does it matter, when one is no longer alive.
If people you kept waiting to hear from, come and mourn for you after you die, would that help? Isn't it too late. In our day to day routine, we forget that people who matter to us must be acknowledged, appreciated, loved and listened to. For afterall, who knows how our seemingly innocuous indifference can create a chasm so wide, that no voice can reach across, no hand can stretch across...What a waste then, that would be.
So, then, sorry, Mr.Sharma, it shouldn't really matter 'Who will cry when you die?' All that should matter is, 'Who will listen when you talk?'
